Ambassador Code of Conduct


Policy brief & purpose

Our Ambassador Code of Conduct company policy outlines our expectations regarding ambassadors’ behavior towards their colleagues, supervisors and overall organization.

We promote freedom of expression and open communication. But we expect all employees to follow our code of conduct. They should avoid offending others, or participating in serious disputes while representing Vata hat co. We also expect them to foster a well-organized, respectful and collaborative environment.

Policy elements

Company ambassadors are bound by their contract to follow our Employee Code of Conduct while performing their duties. We outline the components of our Code of Conduct below:

Compliance with law

All ambassadors must protect our company’s legality. They should comply with all environmental, safety and fair dealing laws. We expect ambassadors to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our company’s products, partnerships, collaborations and public image.

Respect in the workplace

All ambassadors should respect their colleagues. We won’t allow any kind of discriminatory behavior, harassment or victimization.

Protection of Company Property

All ambassadors should treat our company’s property, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.

Ambassadors:

  • Shouldn’t misuse company equipment or use it frivolously.
  • Should respect all kinds of incorporeal property. This includes trademarks, copyright and other property (information, reports etc.) Ambassadors should use them only to complete their job duties.

Professionalism

All ambassadors must show integrity and professionalism in the workplace:

  • Personal appearance

All ambassadors must follow our dress code and personal appearance guidelines. Clothing and accessories must be worn in promotional posts unaltered from the condition in which they were received and intended by Vata. Lewd or vulgar language and/or gestures in posts or captions featuring Vata Hat Co. products or promotions will result in immediate termination of an ambassador’s partnership with Vata Hat Co.

  • Corruption

We discourage ambassadors from accepting gifts from clients or partners. We prohibit briberies for the benefit of any external or internal party.

  • Ambassador Duties

All ambassadors should fulfill their job duties with integrity and respect toward customers, stakeholders and the community.  We expect ambassadors to publish one post between the 1st and 15th of the month, and a second post between the 16th and end of each month. Likewise, we expect team members to follow team leaders’ instructions and complete their posts with skill and in a timely manner. Ambassadors are also required to share a minimum of 2 stories via Instagram per month. Scheduling of stories is not necessary, though optional at the ambassadors discretion.  

  • Absenteeism and tardiness

Ambassadors should follow the given schedule. We can make exceptions for occasions that prevent ambassadors from meeting their deadlines when a simple email is submitted to ambassadors@vatahatco.com describing the purpose of the schedule change, and the new post date within the same month. But, generally, we expect ambassadors to be punctual when posting content.  

  • Conflict of interest

We expect ambassadors to avoid any personal, financial or other interests that might hinder their capability or willingness to perform their social media tasks.

  • Collaboration

Ambassadors should be enthusiastically engaged in sharing Vata hat co.’s products, mission and overall feel. They should expect and be open to opportunities to participate in campaigns, new product launches, giveaway/sweepstakes or special offers. We ask that ambassadors avoid any collaborations with other companies in the same post as a Vata hat co. promotional post, unless otherwise instructed or given specific permission.

  • Communication

All ambassadors must be open for communication with their colleagues, supervisors or team members.

  • Benefits

We expect ambassadors to not abuse their ambassadors benefits. This can refer to discounts, subscriptions or other benefits our company offers.

Disciplinary actions

Our company may have to take disciplinary action against ambassadors who repeatedly or intentionally fail to follow our code of conduct. Disciplinary actions will vary depending on the violation.

Possible consequences include:

  • Demotion.
  • Reprimand.
  • Suspension or termination for more serious offenses.
  • Detraction of benefits for a definite or indefinite time.

We may take legal action in cases of corruption, theft, embezzlement or other unlawful behavior.
